We only did a day trip. We organized the tour through persiangates after everything had worked out great with the Kaluts. Pegah is awesome. At short notice we were able to leave the next day. We were picked up at 8 sharp. Originally it was planned that we would drive towards a camp, meet a guide there and continue on foot to another camp. The tour would have cost €156 for two. With the normal car we went up a gravel road with serpentines. Unfortunately, the network had been down for two days, so we couldn't reach the actual guide. So we had to drive back down into the valley. A new plan was needed. For the time being we had stopped for lunch. Pegah and her driver Mohsen then drove to another place. From there we hiked across a meadow closer to Damavand. A wonderful place and popular with the locals too. After 30 minutes we stopped - away from the other tourists and enjoying the peace and the view of Damavand. Pegah had packed some snacks and drinks and so we sat with gummies, peanuts and drinks for ages and took pictures. The descent was harder than expected and it was inevitable that we fell. When we got back to the car we got sandwiches. Despite the breakdown, we really enjoyed the trip. Pegah and Mohsen are really very warm and open-minded people. We have taken them to our hearts. In the evening we were back in the hostel. Pegah even arranged sleeping bags in case we wanted to camp on the actual tour. Conclusion: we clearly recommend persiangates and Pegah. The tour to the Kaluts was very nice and, although we couldn't implement the Damavand tour as planned, this one was great too. The Damavand Tour was very well organised.
We had a wonderful 10-day holiday in Iran organized to perfection by Pegah from Persiangates Tours. She helped us with our itinerary, booked our hotels and helped us with many suggestions that made our trip unforgettable. Communication with her was very easy and she was always there whenever we needed something. She did her best to provide us with an excellent service and I would gladly recommend her to everyone visiting Iran.
We had a fantastic time, Miss Pegah arranged a marvellous tour for us covering the full length of Iran, beginning at the border of Turkey, travelling south to Persepolis before heading back north this time in the direction of Tehran, but headed for the Turkmenistan border in the North. Along the way our magnificent guide showed us all the sites and allowed us to experience Iran at a very personal level, meeting people in every place we visited and enjoying the wonderful hospitality of the Iranian people. We will definitely be visiting again in the next few years as it is one of the best experiences of our lives. I cannot thank Pegah and the guide enough for the tour of a lifetime!
I traveled to Shiraz, Iran in late September & wanted to visit Pasargadae, Persepolis & Naqsh-e Rostam on a day tour. I contacted Pegah at Persiangates Tours from Sydney before leaving for Iran. Pegah was very helpful & contacted me a couple of times upon my arrival in Shiraz regarding the tour.
My guide Ali was very professional, knowledgeable & personable.
He was also a very good driver which was a blessing as the traffic in Shiraz was crazy & I was worried about the drive.

Pega has managed to respond to all our needs after long and endless message exchanges! We spent a night in a tent immersed in the Lut desert and we were lucky enough to be accompanied by a great guide (Amir, absolutely recommended). Thanks so much for everything!

The best experience in iran. Mainly because of our guide . He really goes offroad into the Kalouts. We have seen the best places, eat with locals, drove the best car, slept with locals in the desert. He showed us remarkable places and gave Good explanation. He was a gentleman for my wife and did everything to make this an unforgetable ecperience. Bahrami was a very gentle guide on my trip to visit Persepolis, Pasargadae, Naqsh-e Rajab & Naqsh-e Rostam. Even the day before he contacted me to have a city walk in Shiraz, so he could show me some nice parts of the city. The trip went very smooth, everything according to plan. After returning, he even took some time to show me the Eram Garden and brought me to the right spot to buy some saffron, as it was my last day in Iran.
It was the best experience I have had in Iran . Very professional organized trip with professional, helpful and good sense of humor guide. Amir is very helpful in every situation, no matter what He will care for his crew . I asked a lot of questions before I go to the camping , now I know that the organization is perfect and gives a lot of good memories . Thank you. We have done several tours with persiangates. First the Kaluts/Keshit Canyon Tour and then a day trip to Damavand. We really enjoyed both tours and Pegah organized everything very well. She also speaks very good English. We kept in touch with Pegah throughout our trip and she took care of all the other little problems. Even when our car broke down, she had a few tips for us in case the car couldn't be fixed. And she always had a few tips ready as to what we could still see - no matter where we were. She also helped us organize bus tickets several times. She always responded promptly and took care of everything. On our last day she even took the time to meet us and Tehran to say goodbye. Conclusion: sure recommendation.
